Pre School Programme Co-ordinator
Do you love preschoolers? Are you the one dancing to the Wiggles in your free time? Or reading through The Hungry Caterpillar? We want you to come and join our team!
Our Children’s team are looking for a Preschool Programme Co-ordinator, someone who really cares about tamariki under 5. This role is for up to seven hours a week, and involves co-ordinating on Sunday mornings and during the week. You’ll be involved in creating and delivering quality programmes, supporting and developing our awesome volunteers in their competency and faith, communication with parents and contributing to our wider Children’s team. Volunteer Resettlement Sponsorship Coordinator
Later this year, the government will begin a process of welcoming in refugees through the community sponsorship model. We are keen to continue being a part of this – we believe that when we join together to help others, it builds our relationships with each other and makes communities and ultimately society more generous, more caring and more healthy. We are looking for a volunteer to oversee the resettlement of refugee families through our community networks.
If you’re someone who could:
- Develop and oversee the selection of suitable groups within SWBC to welcome refugees
- Support those groups in their application to the government
- Prepare groups for sponsorship
- Be the point person for the church and provide the government with reporting as needed

We are looking for a couple of volunteer Receptionists who can fill in for annual leave or during times of sickness. If this sounds like something that you would be like to be involved with, please contact Lee-Ann. Full training will be given.
24-7 Youth Worker
We are currently seeking to fulfil a 10 hour 24-7 Youth Worker position in Middleton Grange School. This role could include anything from mentoring, leadership development, camps, sports coaching and more.
There is also the potential of another 10 hour position in Aidanfield Christian School.

Chair Pack Down
We are currently looking for groups or individual volunteers to help with packing away the chairs in our Lyttelton St site Gym after our Sunday morning gathering. Get in touch with Sandy if you could help.
We are looking for detail-oriented people to join our team of gatherings volunteers in the role of stage manager. The role includes coordinating all the on-stage movements at our Sunday gatherings, including microphones, speakers, lectern and chairs. If you’re interested, get in touch with Michelle.
