IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER: 

Centres will be closed the following days in 2019

Our last day for the year is 20th December for children, finishing at normal time. and we will reopen for 2020 on the 13th January.

2019

Labour day: closed October 28th

Show weekend: closed November 15th

Christmas closure for children: last day 20th December reopening on 13th January 2020

Teaching Positions Positions Available 2019

With all positions we are ultimately seeking faith based teachers who can work within our philosophy, vision, mission and values. Our Vision, Philosophy statement  for permanent teaching positions information.

We have an opportunity for a ECE qualified and registered teacher to join our Nursery team in a fixed term position, This position will be at least 12 months from October 2019, There is no guarantee of the position will lead to a full time position however this could happen.

RELIEVING: We have casual relieving positions available – these are on an on-call basis. If you would like more information please email lsaunders@swbc.org.nz

Child Spaces available
If you are interested in enrolling your child please contact Colleen on cthorman@swbc.org.nz for details of spaces available and she will happily answer your questions. If you prefer to call in, you are welcome to pop in or phone to make a time with: Christine at Building Blocks Community Kindergarten – 51 Edinburgh Street, ph: 338 5465  or Colleen at our Spreydon Site, (Preschool and Kindergarten) 239 Lyttelton Street, ph: 338 5468 to make a time to visit our Nursery, Junior or SBC Kindergarten.

THERE WILL BE INFORMATION HERE IF THE CENTRES ARE LIKELY TO BE CLOSED DUE TO THE WEATHER or OTHER EMERGENCY
