Contributing financially to the work of God’s kingdom is one of the cornerstones of our Christian faith.
By giving to the Church you enable us to fulfil the vision that we believe God has set before us. The donations you make will contribute towards general running expenses of the Church, including staffing, equipment and resources for our Church programs and in the wider community, locally and globally.
South West Baptist Church is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005.
Donation Number
We encourage those who are regularly making donations to the Church to obtain a donation number, which will enable us to give you a tax receipt at the end of the financial year. Please include your donation number with all your payments to ensure you receive your tax receipt. Currently the IRD allows you to claim a portion of this back by filing a Tax credit claim form (IR526). For a donation number, please contact Reception. Requesting a donation number does not automatically make you a member of the church. If you’d like to know more about membership or to check if you are a member, click here.

To Give via Credit Card
Tithely makes it very easy for you to make a donation from your computer or smartphone.
Please note that SWBC incurs a small charge for all credit card donations – the option to cover this charge in your donation is automatically selected.
SWBC has previously partnered with PushPay for credit card donations, this has now been replaced with Tithely. If you need assistance transfering payments, get in touch!
Other Ways to Give
Kete are passed around in our gatherings each Sunday for collecting donations. If you would like to use our pre-printed envelopes for donations, these are available at Reception, or the Welcome Centre on Sundays. EFTPOS facilities are also available at Reception during the week and the Welcome Centre on Sundays.
